Bisp Tehsil Office List Latest Update 2024

BISP is one of Pakistan’s pivotal national safety net initiatives, established in July 2008. Its primary mission was to cushion the impacts of sluggish economic growth and smooth out consumption patterns. At the time of its launch, Pakistan faced a pressing challenge with rapid food price inflation, where the cost of essential goods reached a three-decade high, compounded by the global financial crisis.

Bisp Tehsil Office

Bisp Tehsil Office Objectives Are Threefold:

  1. Enhance the financial capacity of impoverished individuals and their dependent family members.
  2. Develop and execute comprehensive policies and targeted initiatives aimed at uplifting underprivileged and vulnerable segments of the population.
  3. Promote more equitable wealth distribution, particularly for low-income groups.

Notably, BISP boasts the largest repository of data on Pakistan’s poorest households, gathered through the nation’s first-ever comprehensive door-to-door poverty survey. This invaluable dataset informs the planning of poverty alleviation and social protection policies and programs. It has also been shared, following established protocols, with various international and domestic organizations for research purposes.
