There is a happy news for the students from the Punjab Government that now 20000 bikes are being distributed by the Punjab Government under the Punjab Electric Bike Scheme. Inaugurating this scheme, Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz said in the announcement that the government of Punjab is providing 20,000 bikes for the convenience of all the eligible students who go to the cities to get education from remote areas. Which includes 1000 electric bikes and 19000 simple bikes. These bikes will be given only to those students who meet their eligibility criteria.

Under the Punjab Electric bike Scheme, 2000 electric bikes are being provided free of charge to poor students and students from all those families who are getting money under Benazir kafaalat program. The process of getting an electric bike has been made very easy. All the procedures have been explained to you in this article. And it has also been mentioned who will be eligible to get a motorcycle under this scheme.
Because there are many areas of Punjab where there are no schools and colleges. People there travel far and wide to educate their children. And their monthly expenses increase, to reduce the same monthly expenses, electric bikes are being provided by the Punjab government.
Who is eligible for Govt. of Punjab electric Bike Scheme?
Not all students are being included in the Punjab Bike Scheme. It is designed only for those students who travel from remote areas to study. And they face a lot of problems in going to university or colleges. People with the following qualifications may be eligible to get a motorcycle under the Punjab Electric Bike Scheme:
- Children of all those families who have been receiving financial assistance from the Benazir Income Support Program.
- All those students who have secured more than 50% marks in the examinations.
- All those students whose school attendance in college or university is more than 75%.
- All students who are studying in HEC registered universities and institutions.
- Children of schools and colleges who get a prominent position within the school.

How to Apply for Punjab Electric Scheme?

- First you have to create your account on the official portal of Punjab Electric Bike.
- Complete your student profile there.
- Enter your academic activity record within the student profile and enter your correct information.
- After submitting this form, open the portal of Punjab Bike Scheme.

You will need the following documents to apply online for the electric bike scheme. Scan copy of these documents should be attached with your application. So that your application is processed quickly and you are included in the scheme
- You must have your ID card or a skin copy of the bay form.
- You should have a skin copy of all your educational certificates including matriculation, FSC and graduation etc.
- You must have your full address proof.
- You should have a copy of your bank statement.
